JAN 29


I notice more and more females are inclining to seek spiritual knowledge and understanding. I think they suffer more hardships than men. Men just think of working hard to earn a living for the families. But some men spending their time gambling and drinking away their money. Some of them with high ambition just keep on working until they die of heart attack. This is a common trend nowadays and you find this happening in the news everyday.
Most people find life becoming more and more difficult when prices of all things keep rising sky-high. In Singapore, if you want to owe a car you need to pay about $ 100,000 for COE, this is an extra cost. Prices of housing keeps on rising.
Hence less and less people believe in God or Buddha. People are more comcerned to find jobs to have a stable living.
During my time, we seem to have some spare time to read books and pray to God or Buddha. Even though at that time we are no televisions, computers and other modern facilities, we live a much happier life with contentment. But a change has occured now where young people working from 9 am to 9 pm
and you can find them in the hurry to eat and move from place to place without stopping. They always said they have no time for anything. What's a pity?









To be able to adapt and adjust ourselves to any critical events that occur to us in life is the skillful means that derives from our wisdom through the long practice of meditation and accumulating of good merits daily.







I always asked my students to learn to relax from head to toes. This is useful to calm your mind and body. When your mind and body are calm and peace, your immune system is enhanced and strengthened.
" Look at me this old man,has never taken any leave for more than ten over years. You always find me presence in class to teach you Tai Chi. A few of you have been following and learning this art from me for more than ten years, you all also realise this old chap has never taken any medical leave."
The secret of keeping one healthy is to learn to relax your body and mind at all time, don't be carried away by any form of sensational excitement or action. Just be aware of your own existence and pay attention to your inner flow of chi and blood circulation. Keep your heart pumping at regular pace by breathing gently in and out at all time. Try to take simple meals with more vegetables and fruits.
