" When you find that too many thoughts are running at the same time in your mind while you are doing your meditation while focusing at the base of your nostrils, you can chant the name of any Buddha and let the sound of the name of Buddha f
low along with your running thoughts. We can not suppress or cut away the thoughts. Biologically and naturally the thoughts are running in the mind all the times even in your sleep. After years of practice your thoughts will flow and become the name of Buddha and you find the mind can calm down more and eventually you reach a stage of stillness and you will witness your own light shining brightly on your forehead." said my master.
I did that for about twenty minutes everyday and most of the time it was so peaceful that I fell asleep. I slept with the name of Kwan Shi Yin Pusa. I felt very fresh and alert on the next morning.
