Anyone who has a loving-kindness and compassion can easily forgive others who have done wrongs to one for one understands that others who did it are most of the time ignorant and petty-minded. Their spiritual level is low at the same time. In this samsara world, we can find so many of these kinds of people. As the result, many buddhas and bodhisattvas need to come back again and again to rescue them and help them to move across to the opposite shore. Hence we have do our part to practice harder in order to salvage ourselves.

We are living in the world which consists of both favourable conditions and adverse conditions. Gathering merit is an important aspect in our practice of Dharma. In order to accumulate merit, we need to be generous. We need to make offerings to the Three Jewels and be generous to the unfortunate and the poor. By doing such good deeds we tend to get rid of the adverse conditions and create favourab
le conditions for us to practice our Dharma.
The Buddha had gathered merit over for three uncountable aeons-a huge and vast accumulation of merit over an extremely long period of time.
My master used to say wisdom and merit are both the wings of a bird that permit us to fly and rise to the final level of achievement of liberation.

Yesterday, a fb friend messages to me and tells me that he can't sleep well and have a little fear. I told him that I did write a post before to explain my method of sleeping. I imagine myself like little kid in the arms of Kwan Yin, her Grace, and I rock my body from side to side as if I am floating in shallow pool of water. I keep chanting her name at the same time. After a short while I fall as
leep. I could sleep peacefully through the night. I wake up the next morning fully charged with energy and I feel fresh the whole day.
He practiced this method last night and today he gives me his feedback saying that this method works for him. He awoke with freshness.
Please try this method if you have a sleeping problem. You can chant a mantra and a name of any buddha or even God.

A little desire or attachment at the last breath can cause a person to be born at a lower realm.
There was an old monk who practiced meditation at a very high level. Onde day while he was sitting meditation in the temple garden together with his senior disciple, he looked up at a mango tree. He spotted a big and ripened mango. At the same moment he passed away. His senior disciple knew that his mas
ter had an attachment to the mango and he knew that his master the next rebirth would a caterpillar. After a month, he searched the whole temple garden. At last he found the caterpillar which had a sign that his master had. He took the caterpillar back to the temple and did of chanting and liberating merits to his master, the caterpillar. A few months later, the caterpillar passed away and got his rebirth. His disciple went to the village to search for a new born baby. At last he found his master, a baby in a poor villager home. With the permission from the village woman after a long explanation, he managed to take the baby back to the temple. From there, he looked after the baby to a full growth person. He taught him the dharma and the practice of meditation. At last both of them attained enlightenment.
