頓悟入道要門論___抄略
云何為頓悟？How to be awakened?
頓者，頓除妄念 Get rid of your distracted and distorted thoughts.
悟者，悟無所得
從何而修？From where you begin to cultivate?
答：從根本修 Cultivation comes from the basic foundation.
云何從根本修 Where is your basic foundation?
答：心為根本 The heart-mind is your basic foundation.
云何知心為根本？How do you know that the basic foundation?
楞伽經云：Buddha Sutra said:
心生即種種法生The heart-mind creates the Dharma.
心滅即種種法滅 When the heart-mind ceases, the Dharma ceases
云何為禪？云何為定？What is Samadhi? How to get stillness?
妄念不生為禪 Samadhi means all distracted thoughts vanished.
坐見本性為定 Stillness means one see one's Buddha nature.

No one is alone if the romantic conversation continues between you and the divine which is within you.
