SEP4.1

The heart has the main source of power to fulfill our wishes. When we say prayers asking for blessings and help, we need to focus at our heart. To radiate kindness, good-will,compassion and loving-kindness, we have to use our heart to do it

. When a baby is crying, the mother will hug the baby by putting the baby near to her heart. The magnetic field of the heart is very strong and powerful. It can bring back a person to a state calmness and peacefulness. As the result the baby stops crying in the arms of the mother. Not long age I did introduce a method of meditation using the heart chakra to radiate light and love to all beings so that after they have recieved our light and love will transform into better beings for their better rebirths. So the black spot method is to focus our concentration. Once our concentration is sharpened, the sending of love and light from our heart will be more focused. Then the result of your wishes to help others will much more effective.

SEP3.8

This is another method of concentration meditation. A student will stare at a black spot and focus at it so that all the running thoughts will merge into one thought. The student must sit up straight and relax the body. She needs to breathe naturally. (those who are interested can message me for further details)

Two of my Tai Chi students who watched the black spot for training, found that tears started to flow. This shows that physically the eyes' muscles are strengthened,and the solidified paste stuck in the space around the eyes started to melt 

and run down like tears. Spiritually, their inner being shows signs of past negative karma. They shed the tears in a form of rependence and regrets. This way helps them to cleanse their defilements and past mistakes made. Some students saw the golden ring at the circumference of the black spot and some can even move the golden dish up and down.
According to my master, he could move the golden spot right up to the sky after many years of practice. He told me that he used this golden spot to heal patient sickness like using a laser beam.
According my experience, this method helps me to calm my mind down and I also find I lost my usual hot temperament. I could finish reading a thick book within three days with full understanding. Formly I need to spend at least two months or more months to finish reading a book. My understanding of buddha's teachings is better and better. This method has sharpened my mind and my span of concentration can last longer. I seem to able to read another people's mind much more easily now.

I was just thinking how blessed and lucky we are to be able to have time to write and read articles on facebook. When I opened the newspapers, what I witnessed was wars, natural disasters,robberies, killings, fightings, the sales of women a

nd children and so much more. The worse I could find was the siblings fighting over money and properties while their two old ones who had brought them up, providing heart and souls to educate them, had passed away. I saw more older people sitting in the coffee shops idling their time to wait a day for them to hand in their IC back to the authority- death. It was so packed in all the hospitals with patients suffering from all kinds of illnesses that I was wondering why so many of them were admitted there.
The root cause of all these is the educational system that needs to be changed to let people know how to rescue themselves from suffering instead of teaching to learn how to be more ambition in making more money and profit for their livings. (Please correct if I am wrong in this article.)

Precious Dampa said:
One who views himself as highest will not attain qualities.
One who views himself as supreme will not be free from dualistic mind.
One whose continuum is not warmed by faith and devotion will not absorb the sap of bless

ings.
One who does not recognise mistaken instructions, one will not realise the essence of all.
To one who does not grasp the root meaning, profound Dharma becomes mere words.
To one who utters beautiful words without experience, realisation will not dawn.
Again, to one who is not disillusioned with samsara, Dharma will not come.

The person who does not view wealth and property as unneeded does not give up the cause of suffering.
The person who craves the the things of this life doe not reach the path of accomplishment.

harma, if he does not transcend his birthplace, will not cut the stream of attachment and aversion.
The person who cannot bear loss in food and clothing does not find the fortune for dharma activity.
The person who remain humbly happy is the clever one

SEP3.4

The student said, "But we are trying to make a beautiful Zen Center here, for all people. How can I not care? Those flowers spoil the whole room."

Soen-sa said, "If somebody gives real flowers to Buddha, Buddha is happy. If somebody else 

like plastic flowers and gives them to Buddha, Buddha is also happy. Buddha is not attached to name and form, he doesn't care whether the flowers are real or plastic, he only cares about the person's mind. These women who are offering plastic flowers have very pure minds, and their action is Bodhisattva action. Your mind rejects plastic flowers, so you have separated the universe into good and bad, beautiful and ugly. So your action is not Bodhisattva action. Only keep Buddha's mind. Then you will have no hindrance. Real flowers are good; plastic flowers are good. This mind is like the great sea, into which all waters flow— the Hudson River, the Charles River, the Yellow River, Chinese water, American water, clean water, dirty water, salt water, clear water. The sea doesn't say, 'Your water is dirty, you can't flow into me.' It accepts all waters and mixes them and all become sea. So if you keep the Buddha mind, your mind will be like the great sea. This is the great sea of enlightenment.

The student was very upset. He went to Soen-sa and said, "Those plastic flowers are awful. Can't I take them off the altar and dump them somewhere?"

Soen-sa said, "It is your mind that is plastic. The whole universe is plastic." The stude

nt said, "What do you mean?"

Soen-sa said, "Buddha said, 'When one's mind is pure, the whole universe is pure; When one's mind is tainted, the whole universe is tainted.' Every day we meet people who are unhappy. When their minds are sad, everything they see, hear, smell, taste, and touch is sad, the whole universe is sad. When the mind is happy, the whole universe is happy. If you desire something, then you are attached to it. If you reject it, you are just as attached to it. Being attached to a thing means that it becomes a hindrance in your mind. So 'I don't like plastic' is the same as 'I like plastic'— both are attachments. You don't like plastic flowers, so your mind has become plastic, and the whole universe is plastic. Put it all down. Then you won't be hindered by anything. You won't care whether the flowers are plastic or real, whether they are on the altar or in the garbage pail. This is true freedom. A plastic flower is just a a plastic flower. A real flower is just a real flower. You mustn't be attached to name and form.
